How beautiful a day can be when it thouches it

Little Kindnesses

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of aring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo Buscaglia.

Alice was able to support a mum who wanted to volunteer her time to help the Alice Charity, we paid for her daughter to attend nursery one day a week. Everyone involved benefited as the little girl flourished and made lots of new friends, our new volunteer grew in confidence and made the decision to go to university, and by donating her time it helped Alice raise lots of much needed cash.

We have helped a grandparent to secure residency of their grandchild by funding court costs. This provided stability for the family and minimised disruption for the child.

Alice supported a low income family to pay for their son to attend a school residential trip, so that he wasn’t the only child left behind at school and felt included in the class activities.
